Well, Dayton, Ohio has successfully completed it's transition into an icy tundra. On the news this morning, they said it was zero degrees! Seriously ZERO degrees? That's not even a temperature. It's the lack of one.
So I've been holding back this post for just such an occasion. These pictures are from a very balmy day this summer when I went to a showing for some of my Uncle's mobile sculptures. It is a warm, shiny, little pearl of a memory spent with my wonderful family at a tiny, still-functioning mill called (appropriately) Bear's Mill.
Just thinking about it makes me feel all warm and happy inside. I hope it makes you feel even a little bit fuzzy!

Beautiful pictures! I'm headed back to Ohio tomorrow for the holidays. All of my family is still there and even though I don't live there anymore, I'll always be a "Buckeye" at heart ;)
I miss summer!
