The Greek Fest is going on all weekend. They have amazing food, and an awesome little store that sells Greek items. I bought a beautiful soapstone owl their last year:

Urban Nights is tonight from 5-10. All of Downtown will be opened up, heavily patroled, and well-lit. It's walkable, but you can also take free trollies around town to easily reach several destinations. See lots of art galleries, free performances, etc. My husband's band, Me & Mountains, will be performing at the "Spotlight on Second" stage from 8-9, at the corner of Second and Jefferson.

My favorite part of Urban Nights is the Taste of the Miami Valley. Taking part in this event at Riverscape tonight from 5-11, will be numerous local restaurants. They will be featuring a handful of their signature dishes. You purchase tickets for $2.50 apiece when you arrive, and trade your tickets at each booth for a sampling of their featured items. If you love to eat, as I do, you shouldn't miss this.
